The FOREX Betal- & kreditkort is covered by the government deposit guarantee scheme, which means that if a bank declares bankruptcy, every customer is guaranteed reimbursement for his total holdings in the bank in accounts covered by the deposit guarantee. The reimbursement can reach a maximum of SEK 500,000. The reimbursement will be paid by the National Debt Office within three months of the day the bank declared bankruptcy.
