A cheap EUR = a cheap DKK

8/1/2012

The fact that the Euro is cheap for Swedish travellers has got a lot of attention recently.

As the Danish Crown, DKK, is linked to the Euro (or pegged to it in currency jargon), with room for variations of plus/minus 2.25%, it is also noticeably cheaper compared to the Swedish Crown.

If we look back a few years, the DKK had its highest level against the SEK on July 16 2009, when DKK 1 cost SEK 1.51. The lowest observed level is from July 24 when the DKK recorded a rate of SEK 1.18.
