A flight to go island-hopping

Budget airline Norwegian, who had over a million customers in both July and August, are continuing to introduce new routes. One of the latest is a once a week flight from Arlanda to Tenerife from the 31st of October. You can get hold of return tickets for under SEK 2000 if you are quick enough.

Amongst other things, you’ll have the opportunity to travel around the three “unknown” islands under your own steam; La Gomera, La Palma and El Hierro by ferry from
Los Cristianos on Tenerife.

All three are interesting destinations but we like La Palma best thanks to the charm of the capital, Santa Cruz, and the magnificent crater, Caldera de Taburiente, which has attractive long-distance footpaths. Why not stay at the El Fuente boarding house in Santa Cruz, hire a car and explore the island!
