In the survey, which was carried out by Novus for the paper Dagens Industri, only 25% of the surveyed people were positive towards the Euro, whilst a massive 61% had a negative view.
The reason behind this swing in opinion is of course the financial crisis in several European countries and the recent rise in the value of the Swedish Crown.
Just over a year ago a similar survey was carried out. At that time, 47% were in favour of changing to the Euro and 44% against. That was when the Crown was at its weakest and the Euro cost nearly SEK 12.
