At that time 1 Euro cost SEK 11.90, 1 Danish Crown was SEK 1.60 (because it is locked against the Euro in the ERM2 system) and one US Dollar could be bought for SEK 9.37.
But things are now on the up, even for the Swedish Crown. The recovery in the world’s (and the Swedish) economy, in conjunction with the crisis in the Euro countries around the Mediterranean, have resulted in comparatively much cheaper foreign trips. For example, today, a Euro is almost 2 Crowns cheaper to exchange than it was a year ago and the Danish Crown is almost 30 öre cheaper.
