The point of the telephone bank is that you can carry out some of your errands at any time of the day, regardless of whether you have your computer with you or whether there’s any connection. You just phone up, log in with your personal number and pin code (the same one as for the Internet bank) and you can get your balance and recent transaction details. If you want to transfer money, you have to use a tan code (the same sort of one-time codes you use for the Internet bank).
Due to security issues, you cannot pay bills via the telephone bank.
