It costs a lot to stay at the top – but it might be worth it for SEK 3500, or more, per person to be taken past the usual queues of charter tourists at the passport controls and then get a personal hotel transfer by taxi or minibus. Added to that, you’ll get a flight in business class (or equivalent), with all the benefits included in the extra price. This winter, the country’s third largest travel operator, Apollo, will be offering this service on its own air company, Novair, to Krabi in Phuket and to Saigon.
