A train to Bangkok?

11/25/2010

Bangkok is heading for its best time of year. When landing at Suvarnbhumi airport, there’s another way of getting into town that’s been around since August - the Airport Rail Link, the train that runs on an elevated track 15 metres above the ground. It connects to the other elevated railway, Skytrain, at Phayathai stop, one stop before Siam Square.

But going by taxi is the best bet if you have heavy luggage and are going to a hotel, which you may be unsure as to where it is. A trip from the airport and the city centre costs just over THB 300, under SEK 100!
