Card Safety

When should you dare to use your card abroad or at home? What type of card should you have? This is a frequent question we get from our customers.

FOREX Bank is the provider of three cards, all from VISA and all ideal to have on your journey:

FOREX Bank card; is linked to your bank account. Purchases are debited directly to your salary account when you use your card. Only use it when buying items and services from “safe and serious places”, e.g. for care hire and in hotels. Make sure to keep your receipts!

FOREX Visa Card, a credit card. You pay for your purchases on a monthly basis. If you pay for at least 75 % of your trip with this card, you’ll get supplementary insurance on top of your home travel insurance. Be careful when and where you expose your card.

FOREX Global Cash is the safest card as it can be preloaded with a fixed sum of money (and can be reloaded during your trip). But do remember, whatever cards you may have, that they shouldn’t be your sole source of money, but should complement your cash funds.
