Electronic Currency

There are two types of exchange rates: an electronic one (a-vista) and a cash one. The former is used e.g. for business transactions when amounts are transferred from one account to another.

Sometimes the rates have to be converted when transferring over borders with different currencies. It’s an easy way to make a transfer and takes a moment to do. There isn’t much cost involved in handling such a transaction, thus the rates are better than the cash rate. The electronic rates are the ones generally used in the business sections of newspapers and on TV.
