FOREX Bank is expanding - again

FOREX Bank will grow further in Scandinavia as it has bought all 16 of Western Union’s Nordic branches, 13 in Norway, two in Sweden and one in Finland. These will gradually be acquired by FOREX Bank during 2012 and afterwards they will get the renowned FOREX Bank logo. These Nordic branches will eventually have the same range of services as FOREX Bank.

FOREX Bank’s expansion will be most noticeable in Norway, where the number of branches will increase from eight to 21! Some of the new places that the new acquisitions will serve are Bergen, Fredrikstad, Kristiansand, Drammen and the Oslo suburbs of Stovner and Furuset.

In conjunction with the takeover, FOREX Bank will be changing partners for its electronic transfer service from MoneyGram to Western Union. The collaboration starts on the 6th of December. This will offer an even wider network of receiving agents around the world than before.
