Ryanair flies to Madrid and Rome

On the second of November the low cost airline, Ryanair, will be opening two new air routes for us. They will be Skavsta to Madrid and Gothenburg City Airport to Rome.

They will run three flights a week, in both cases on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Ryanair’s planes usually land at small airports, far away from the cities, but not where the two new routes are concerned. The Madrid route goes to the international airport, Barajas, just over 10km from the city centre and the Rome route goes to the city’s second airport, Ciampino. From there it’s a 15km journey into town.
We’ve reported before about British airways’ new route from Gothenburg Landvetter to Gatwick from this autumn, well Easy Jet are jumping on the Gothenburg bandwagon and will be starting new routes to London Gatwick (LGW) and Berlin.
