Shark attacks - again

The paradisical description of big tourist destinations has been sullied even further.

In December last year a German woman was killed by a shark and several others were wounded from attacks in the Red Sea near Sharm el-Sheik. The Seychelles have now been shaken by two deadly attacks during August, both during snorkelling trips off the same beach on the island of Praslin.

The first victim was a 36 year-old Frenchman, the second was a 30 year-old Brit, who was there on his honeymoon. It is a mystery as to why sharks have attacked people on the Seychelles – there have never been any before, according to local media.
