Swedes on holiday

11/29/2010

What is important when choosing a holiday destination? The travel agent, Ticket, has carried out a survey on more than 3 000 participants to find the answer. In the survey there were five choices: Not important at all; not very important; neither nor; quite important; very important. To save space we’ve combined the answers “quite important” and “very important” in our article about their findings.

Natural surroundings – 66 per cent. Good food – 80 per cent. Cultural experience – 49 per cent. Price levels – 64 per cent. Quality of accommodation – 58 per cent. Shopping – 31 per cent. Entertainment – 18 per cent.

Do you agree or not? One of the conclusions drawn was that a majority of those who answered were people, over the age of 30, who were settled in a family - no wonder that entertainment got low priority.
