Who can you trust?

Travel sites who arrange hotel stays will often let guests rate their accommodation. Tripadvisor is one such site, with 45 million reviews of hotels, as well as restaurants and attractions. They have discovered that about 30 establishments have manipulated their reviews and they have now been banned from the site, Vagabond say. A British hotel owner was exposed by a letter offering a 10% discount on food and drink and an upgrade in return for positive reviews.

Tripadvisor has now put a red flag by the hotels on their site who they suspect fake their reviews.

As the title of Morcheeba’s album goes … “Who can you trust?”
