I have sent money and want to change one of the details on the recipient. Can you help me with that?

If you sent the money from a FOREX store, you can come in to us and we will help you. Don't forget to bring your receipt and ID with you. If you have shipped from another Western Union agent, you will need to contact Western Union yourself.

How long does it take for the recipient to receive the money?

If you ship to a Western Union agent abroad, the money is usually available within a few minutes, or you can choose to have it available the next day, which is usually cheaper. To many countries, you can also deposit the money into a bank account or mobile wallet. In that case, it may take a few banking days.

What rate do I get when I send money?

It is Western Union that sets the course and it is updated several times a day. You are welcome to visit us and we will help you see what the course is at the moment.

The amount you can send varies by country. We always need to understand the purpose of the transaction and the origin of the money you send. In some cases, we may need to ask additional KYC questions and see documentation proving the origin and purpose before we can complete the transaction.
