On presentation of a receipt, you can sell back the currency stated on the receipt in any FOREX Store without a fee. You will receive a refund of the currency of the country where the exchange takes place. In Sweden, for example, you get SEK back.

Since June 1, 2016, we have no opportunity to help our customers exchange foreign coins for Swedish kronor. In our stores, we instead have Save the Children boxes where you can donate your coins, regardless of what currency you have.

There is no limit to how much you can buy from us, but you may need to bring documentation to show the origin and purpose of the money. If you need to buy a larger amount, we recommend that you visit one of our stores and we can help you place an order.

Buying foreign currency from us is free of charge, you pay the rate we offer on the day you visit us. If you save your receipt from when you bought the currency from us, you do not pay a fee when exchanging it back to Swedish kronor. If you do not have a receipt or a FOREX Credit Card, a re-exchange fee of SEK 50 will be added.

FOREX does not currently trade in RUB (applies to both buy and sell) due to the war in Ukraine.

You cannot pay by direct debit, but you can choose whether you want to receive paper invoices, e-invoices or through Kivra. Just add FOREX Credit Card, Nordea Finans to your internet bank or get Kivra.

To cancel your FOREX Credit Card, you need to pay any remaining debt you have on the card and send a message in the Credit Card Portal. You can also contact our card center on 08-402 57 73.

FOREX Credit Card has a regular annual fee of SEK 225. You shop abroad without currency exchange surcharges, and avoid a withdrawal fee when you withdraw money outside the EU. 

You can easily apply with BankID. If you do not have BankID, you are warmly welcome to one of our stores and we will help you with an application on site.

You activate the card by making a purchase or withdrawal using your chip and PIN.

It is possible to apply for an increase in the credit on your FOREX Credit Card. You can apply for an increase in the Credit Card Portal or in one of our stores.

If you sent the money from a FOREX store, you can come in to us and we will help you. Don't forget to bring your receipt and ID with you.

If you have shipped from another Western Union agent, you will need to contact Western Union yourself. 

It is Western Union that sets the course and it is updated several times a day. You are welcome to visit us and we will help you see what the course is at the moment. 

The fee varies between different countries and different agents. You can find a general price list here. 

If you ship to a Western Union agent abroad, the money is usually available within a few minutes, or you can choose to have it available the next day, which is usually cheaper. To many countries, you can also deposit the money into a bank account or mobile wallet. In that case, it may take a few banking days. 

The amount you can send varies by country. We always need to understand the purpose of the transaction and the origin of the money you send. In some cases, we may need to ask additional KYC questions and see documentation proving the origin and purpose before we can complete the transaction. 

Travel insurance is good to have when you travel abroad. It can cover the cost of medical care, lost luggage, cancellations of trips and other unexpected events during the trip. 

If you feel that the travel cover in your home insurance is  not enough

Home insurance includes basic travel cover and is usually valid for 45 days (in some cases 60 days). The content of the basic travel cover can vary depending on which home insurance company you have and whether you have chosen to buy extended travel cover or not. If you want to supplement your travel cover and close the gaps in your home insurance, it may be a good idea to take out travel insurance Plus.    

If you do not have home insurance 

If you do not have home insurance, it is important to buy travel insurance that provides compensation for unforeseen events or expensive hospital stays. The most important thing is that you have travel insurance that covers costs that arise if you need hospital treatment, repatriation at a time other than planned or liability and legal protection. Travel insurance Basic is a good insurance if you do not have any home insurance. Keep in mind that the travel insurance must be taken out and paid for before you start the trip.   

If you have home insurance and are going to be away for longer than 45 days 

The basic travel cover included in the home insurance is valid for 45 days (in some cases 60 days). If you are going to be away longer, it is important to buy insurance from day 46 onwards as you are otherwise completely uninsured if something should happen at the destination. Travel insurance Basic can be taken out from day 46 and provides compensation in the event of bad luck, it covers, among other things, costs for hospital care, repatriation, liability protection, legal protection, luggage and property protection.  

The EHIC entitles you to necessary medical care within the EU/EEA countries and Switzerland on the same terms as residents of the country you are visiting. The card entitles you to the same state care as the country's residents have and at the same prices, but the standard of public hospitals is in many cases significantly lower than what we are used to in Sweden. In addition, the patient fee can be much higher in some countries than in Sweden. The EHIC does not cover repatriation in the event of illness or accident, nor the costs of private medical care.  

The EHIC mainly covers emergency medical and dental care and does not cover, for example, repatriation in the event of illness or accident, costs for hospital treatment that is not deemed necessary, or costs for private healthcare. 

Private travel insurance is more comprehensive and provides broader coverage and may include more benefits such as baggage delays, medical and hospital costs, travel home in case of illness or accident, and other types of assistance and compensation during the trip. So, the difference between the EHIC and a private travel insurance is mainly in the scope of the protection and the various benefits included. 

Having card insurance when you go on a trip is usually not enough. The card insurance is a supplement to the home insurance and the card insurance does not cover, for example, the costs of medical care, repatriation, serious incidents at home, liability costs, etc.  

Depending on which card you have, there are differences in what is included in the card insurance; Cancellation insurance, delay compensation and deductible cover (home and car insurance) are usually included, but there are cards that cover more. It's important to double-check what applies to your card insurance to be sure you have adequate protection during your trip.  

It may be wise to supplement with separate travel insurance to be extra sure that you are well protected. 

The insurance is valid for the benefit of the insured who is stated on the insurance certificate or booking confirmation.

No, you can pay afterwards if you wish. There are several different payment options when booking an experience.

When you cancel and cancel your experience, your money will arrive in your account within 3-5 business days.

If you are late or unable to get to the meeting point or pickup point, please call the activity provider. You can find their phone number on your voucher.

The delivery time is usually between 3 to 7 business days. Note that it may vary slightly between different providers.

Once your order has been shipped from the supplier, you will receive an email from the supplier. This contains information and any tracking link (this may vary depending on the supplier's choice of shipping method).

If your order has not been shipped, it is usually possible to make changes or cancel your order. Then contact our customer service as soon as possible! If your order has been shipped, it unfortunately cannot be changed or cancelled and you will need to initiate a return once the product has been delivered.

The price shown is the lowest possible price and in many cases only applies when selecting a specific payment method. The travel agent or airline selling the trip may list this price as discounted. Most often but not always, the payment method that gives the lowest price is direct payment via internet banking. However, in all cases, the discounted payment method is available to the majority of consumers. 

If you haven't received a booking confirmation, it could be for several reasons. The most common is that you have entered the wrong email address when booking on the travel agency's website. Then you can contact the travel agency where you bought your flight ticket directly and ask them to send it out again. 

If you do not know from which travel agency you bought your ticket, you can check with your bank to which travel agency you have paid. Another trick is to check the browser history on the computer or mobile phone where you made the purchase. Then you will see which travel agency page you have been on.

Most cheap flight tickets are not cancelled or rebookable. If you have bought a trip and cannot go, you can contact the internet travel agency or airline where you made the booking to check if there may be a solution. If you know in advance that you need a cancelable flight ticket, you should buy a more expensive "flex" ticket directly from the airline. 

It is important that you review your insurance cover before booking flight tickets so that you know what applies if you cannot travel. A simpler travel insurance is usually included in the home insurance or if you pay for the trip with a debit / credit card. There are also supplementary and more comprehensive insurances to buy directly from the insurance companies or from the internet travel agency / airline when you book your flight ticket.
