You can take out luggage insurance regardless of whether you have other insurances. Luggage insurance insures your luggage and gives it extra protection on the trip. You will receive compensation if your baggage is stolen, lost or delayed for more than 2 hours on both the outbound and return journeys.   

If you do not have home insurance, you can take out both travel insurance Basic and supplement with travel insurance Plus as there are different elements in the insurances. Travel insurance Basic corresponds to what you have in your basic travel cover if you have home insurance. If you do not have home insurance or are going to be away for more than 45 days, you can thus take out both Basic and Plus and get comprehensive protection on the trip.
